The Kansas Regional Library Systems invite Kansas library professionals and trustees to join the 2023-2024 APPLE students for an HR Basics and Employment Law workshop. The presenter is Tiffany Hentschel, Deputy Director of Human Resources at Johnson County. 

Targeted Learning Outcomes: 

• Basic understanding of employment law,
• Approaches to handling employee performance or conduct concerns,
• Understanding of the Board/Director relationship and a method for both keeping the Board informed and documenting Director performance.
